Intel 7nm 「Meteor Lake」 回路設計完了へ

5/24 intel は Meteor Lake の回路設計が完了し、 ファブ(製造工場) への テープアウト が可能となりました。

intel 7nm は 2023年 に「 Meteor Lake 」にて投入予定の製造プロセス。

Meteor Lake は今年後半に投入予定の Alder Lake から2世代後に投入される予定。

( Alder Lake → Raptor Lake → Meteor Lake )

Redwood Cove アーキティクチャにより Sky Lake 比で IPC  最大80% 向上、ソケットは LGA1700 をサポートする最後のCPUとなる。

ソケットが LGA1700 をサポートすることから Alder 世代の 新600シリーズ チップセットをサポートすると思われますが、もしかすると intel の気分次第かもしれません・・・
